This is a fantastic class, I learn a lot and it all makes sense. I like being able to see exactly how my career in the teaching field is going to be. My teacher is fantastic, and she really cares about me. She makes sure that I am on track and doing everything I should be. We spend a lot of time in our books, going chapter by chapter by chapter; But we do get some time to practice things we have learned. These are some examples of some of the stuff we do in class....(practicing different activities that we can use with our future students) and a couple of my chapter assignments.
This was an activity for practicing Right and Left! Twister was a good hands on activity. I have not seen a mat this big before; our entire class could play at the same time!
This was our class practicing our large muscle skills in a dancing activity. We learned the Hannah Montana 'Hoe Down Throw Down.'
This is me giving a children's literature presentation! we put socks on our hands and had to practice everyday skills; like shoelaces, buttons, zippers, and cutting. It helped them realize what small students go through everyday. It was a good experience.
Another student in the class gave a presentation, and we got to use our imagination to create a monster. It was a reminder that each student is different and unique. Mine looks pretty cute!
